Central Records handles the task of entering reports into the computerized records management system.  Staff then file and secure records for future access. 

This office is also responsible for data submission into the New York State Incident Based Reporting system.  IBR information is then made available to law enforcement agencies across New York State to track trends and develop strategies fro combating crime.

Starting January 1, 2010, accident reports can be obtained on-line at WarrenCSNY.PoliceReports.us

Persons with proper identification and authorization may obtain local background information during normal business hours for a fee of $75.00.
